Challange Yourself

I was download so many PDF pattern and tutorial from Pinterest and Google, and also I have some books about crafting project (making purse, doll, sewing, etc), and Youtube tutorial about crafting and sewing.

Unfortunately, I haven't try them.  Actually, the tutorial is very simple if you follow the instruction, the measurement, and the picture.  But, sometime the problem is, you don't have the materials like them.  In Indonesia, I don't know where to buy fusible fleece, or something like that.  And sometimes I have to buy the material from online shop, that will need time to deliver to your home.  While is import product, you will spent extra money *sigh*

Anyway, I adore to other people, who can make a craft handmade product in Indonesia, which is very cute!!  They have big effort to do that on the limitation.

Well, I will challenging my self to try them one by one.  I will targeting to make one project in a week.  And in a month I will finished 4 project.  I will try different project so it will improve my capability and experience in sewing.  I will choose the easy project, so it won't need rare material, and easy to follow.  I will starting when I staying in Bandung later, because I have time to working fully at home.

I'll tell you the progress about this in the Blog.  And I hope I can share the tutorial for you too.  It's very nice if I can share something I know to you.

Pouch for the Kids and Friends

End of this month I will resign from my school that I working now.  So, it will be the last week I'm teaching the kids.  I will be leaving from Depok to Bandung, and will staying there with my husband.  Yeaah, finally we'll living together after our marriage. I'm sooo haaappyyy :)

Before I leave, me and the kids will having a farewell party (not party actually, because its too simple).  For that event, I will give them the farewell gift.  I made simple bow pouch for them, actually it's only for the girls.  I hope they'll like the gift from me.

Next Project: Maxi Dress

I bought a maxi dress in Bandung that very suitable for me, its black maxi dress for inner and bolero blazer for the outer.  And the cut makes me looks slim, lol..

Knit and Jersey Fabric
Near from my home, there is a store that sell the jersey fabric which is very cheap because the store sell the fabric in kilos.  On my next project I will make my own maxi dress that suit for me.  It will save my money a lot if I make my own dress.  Can't wait for that. I'll post the result later.

The hardest part when sewing jersey fabric is, the needle was I used is broken the fabric sew because the structure of the jersey and needle I used is not suitable.  The other difficulties is the knit or jersey fabric will curl up if you are not using serger machine, and I don't have serger machine.  When cutting the fabric you will have to be careful, because it will curl and you didn't have the good measurement.

Anyway, I was looking on the Pinterest how to solve the problem when sewing knit or jersey fabric.  It says that I have to use ball point needle so it wont broken your fabric, use close distance stitching, and you can use twin needle if you can for make semi serger seam.

I hope I didn't ruin the dress I'll make, hehhee..
Happy Crafting :)

Sewing Table

Last sunday, me and my husband going to search a sewing table for me at Tanjung Barat wood stores near Tanjung Barat and Lenteng Agung street.  I found one sewing table that I falling love with, and it quite cheap I think.  Just IDR 275.000 without drawer, and you will spent extra IDR 75.000 for drawer.  And its still cheap!  Unfortunately I dont have the picture of that table, but I will describe you.  Its simple table, plain wood with natural color, without drawer.  The measurement is 45 x 90 cm, and very fit for my sewing machine.  The high is also fit for me when I try to sitting in front of the table.

But, the problem is, my husband don't want to buy it on Jakarta, he said that we will search in Bandung, because it need space in car to moving from Jakarta to Bandung.  Next month I will move to Bandung to staying with my husband.  I feel so sad, because I'm so in love with that table.  After arguing and persuading him, he agreed to buy that table, yaayy.. I'm sooooo happyyyy...

Can't wait to buy and use it.  And later, I will update about my sewing corner on our lovely rent house in Bandung :)

And btw, I love you sayaaaannnggg :*

Motivasi Untukku!!

Clutch Bag

I was looking tutorial for making clutch bag, and I found this easy tutorial from Craft by Mood.  And I try to follow the instruction, and its quite easy and simpel.  But well, I found the difficulties part when use batting foam for lining and batting the bag.  The fabric and batting wont be fit so it kinda tricky trick to make it good.  hehhee..

Pretty Flowery Clutch

So far, I like the result. The measurement is 25 x 15 x 2 cm its fit for your phone cell, wallet, key, lipstick, and very suitable for 'kondangan' yeeeyy..

I dedicated this hand made clutch for my best friend Annisa, whose birthday on last November.  I hope she'll like this.  Happy birthday Nisaaaaa :)

Lil Workshop

Tote Bag buatan Tia
Kak Dina lagi serius menjahit tas serutnyaaa :)

Kak Ibad belajar jahit :)

Happy Crafting :*
